Education: 1974 - Ing. (M.Sc.) summa cum laude in electronics, Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, Czech Technical University, Prague, 1985 - CSc. (PhD.) in Computer Machinery, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Slovak University of Technology, Bratislava

Professional qualifications and affiliations: Vice - President of the Slovak Association for Information Security (SASIB), member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (American ISACA site, Slovakian ISACA site), Certified Information System Auditor, CISA license of the ISACA

Previous employment: 1974 – 1989 Assistant Professor at the Department of Computers, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Slovak University of Technology, Bratislava, 1989 - Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the Department of Computers, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Slovak University of Technology, Bratislava, 1992 - 1993 Director of the SARC - Centre for Advancement, Science and Technology, Bratislava

Research interests: computer security, information systems security, computer architecture, fault tolerant computing
