Assoc. Prof. Eduard Kuric

Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava

Eduard Kuric is an Associate Professor, researcher, and lecturer at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU), where he leads the User Experience and Interaction Research Center and serves as Deputy Director of the Institute of Informatics, Information Systems and Software Engineering. His research and teaching focus on human-computer interaction (HCI), usability, user behavior analytics, and how AI is changing the way we study user experience.

He received his Ing. (Master's) degree in Software Engineering from STU in 2011 and his PhD in Intelligent Information Systems from the same university in 2016. Eduard became an Associate Professor in Applied Informatics in December 2024. In January 2026, he was named an IEEE Senior Member.

Alongside his academic work, Eduard Kuric is the Founder of UXtweak, a user research platform used by teams worldwide to recruit research participants, run usability studies, and turn user behavior data into product decisions. Building UXtweak has kept his research grounded in real-world practice — most of what he teaches and publishes is informed by the problems product teams experience every day, and vice versa.
