Ambient Intelligence within a Home Environment

Abstract: Team of five students from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava designed and developed a prototype of an intelligent household. The students presented result of this project at the second annual IEEE Computer Society International Design Compe-tition (CSIDC) World Finals. The Slovak University of Technology team won the fourth place by promoting ambient intelligence within a home environment. The students designed and developed prototype called EUNICA (Extensible Universal Control of Appliances).
